Abstract: This season's video activity features a TIMSS video. It is designed to support teachers as they learn how to help students develop and understand precise mathematical communication and language in the context of making a geometric conjecture. The teacher in the video exhibits several specific moves that support students in developing metacognition around mathematical communication and reasoning.
